Growing up in the 1980s it was hard not to notice the boom in the fashion industry, with fashion photographers and advertising directors becoming as famous as the models and celebrities they shot.

I’ve been taking pictures of people and places that interest me ever since my dad reluctantly showed me how to use a ‘proper’ camera on a family trip when i was a youngster. So when i got the opportunity to try my hand at some fashion photography I jumped at the chance, especially when i could bring some storytelling into the mix.

Below are some of my favourite examples of this work, from product shots using professional swing dancers, to fully story-boarded fashion spreads for In Retrospect magazine, and nationally exhibited work for Italian sofa company Natuzzi for London Design Week.
